Velocity Sales Rep

R2 Unified Technologies is looking to hire a high energy, results driven sales professional who will be tasked with selling complete technology solutions to the small business market.  Prospective clients will range from 25 to 300 employees and will be based in South Florida.  The right candidate for this job will be required to do the following:

  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities
  • Comfortable with cold calling in person & on phone
  • Ability to deliver presentations & product demos in person and via Webex
  • Consultative selling approach to delivering a technology solution
  • Ability to respond to prospects and customers with a sense of urgency in a sales driven culture
  • Deliver final proposals and close business
  • Properly manage the pipeline from prospect to close
  • Ability to overcome objections and CLOSE deals
  • Negotiate sales opportunities with vendors and clients
  • Ability to help customers demonstrate a favorable ROI

Network Engineer

This role will be responsible for executing complex configurations, implementation and support of infrastructure equipment. The team member will be expected to interact with customers, peers, vendors and partners to complete projects on time and resolve customer issues as per contracted SLAs. The engineer will be responsible for projects/moves, adds and changes remotely and at multiple customer sites.

  • Participate in Professional Service projects for the configuration, implementation and migrations of various network technologies (routers, switches, firewalls & WLAN controllers) while providing superior customer experience.
  • Perform Wireless surveys and installations.
  • Provide network hardware/software support and creates/maintain documentation and diagrams for multiple clients.
  • Handle trouble tickets to by phone or email to resolve customer and network issues to resolution in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshoot complex network and voice related issues, including routing, switching, WAN/LAN failures and QoS problems.
  • Proactively review customers’ infrastructure and provide recommendations based on findings.
  • Work within required SLAs for the business and provide regular and frequent status updates.

Qualifications

  • Should have extensive experience with implementations of solutions involving large data centers/inter-office routing and switching.
  • Working knowledge of OSPF, BGP, STP, Port Channels, MetroE, MPLS, DMVPN & IWAN.
  • Hands on experience and demonstrated expertise in the following:
    • Nexus 7K, 5K and 2K configuration
    • Cisco Enterprise Wireless (APs, WLAN Controllers, Prime)
    • ASA Firewalls (VPN, HA configurations, IPS, NAT)
  • Advanced knowledge and working experience with IP Telephony, VoIP, and IP Video Teleconferencing equipment.
  • Great personality, team-building attitude with strong troubleshooting, verbal and written skills.
  • This position will participate in an on-call schedule, providing after hours support as necessary.
  • Possess college degree in Engineering or 5+ years technical experience as a Network Engineer.
  • Unified Communication experience is a Plus.

Typical Day for a Sales Account Manager

  • Begin the day by 8:30am.  Review all opportunities in pipeline and progress each opportunity to the next phase in the sales process.  Work with inside sales to execute on any orders in progress.  Conduct prospecting activities (cold calling, networking, etc.) as needed to reach goals.  Go on sales appointments, ask questions and identify valid (qualified) sales opportunities to propose/bid on.  Engage Sales Engineering for Technical meetings with prospects/customers.  Work with inside sales to get best possible vendor pricing and complete proposals/quotes to customers for review.  Follow up on all proposals and quotes until Purchase Order is issued or contract signed.  Plan sales activities for next day/week.

IT Support Engineer

This position is responsible for proactive monitoring, diagnostics and support of network connectivity (LAN and WAN), voice, desktop and application servers in a team oriented, support environment. As an IT Support Engineer you are essential to providing a “white-glove” level of support to our customers.

  • Work on trouble tickets to resolve customer and network issues resolution in a timely manner
  • Troubleshoot network and voice related issues
  • Add/Moves/Changes for Client phone systems
  • Configure & support for network monitoring tools, perform traffic analysis and performance management
  • Customer circuit turn-ups and service activation
  • Interact with clients, outsourced and network vendors on a daily basis to resolve issues
  • Maintain day to day network and system operations and fulfill task requests for configurations & updates
  • Partner with Engineering team for network & system infrastructure support
  • Update and create internal articles and/or documentation
  • Ability to work independently without supervision
  • Handle incoming phone calls, gather information, create tickets in ticketing system and escalate/assign as necessary
  • Configure PCs and laptops as well as loading software
  • Administer Windows servers
  • Work within required SLAs for the business and provide regular and frequent status updates

Qualifications

  • Experience working across multiple disciplines (Servers, Desktop, LAN, WAN)
  • Basic knowledge of Windows and Active Directory

  • 3+ years experience in an IT position configuring and supporting Cisco devices
  • Previous experience in a call center or support environment a plus
